Dena and Paul’s Wedding.
We are having such a neat year with our weddings, and having hit Spring, Dena and Paul’s wedding proved to be no exception. I was lucky enough to photograph Dena’s sister, Tanya’s wedding, earlier in the year. Tanya and Dave’s wedding was a fantastic affair. It was full on fun, and we gained some great photos, to the extent their album is one of the best collections of wedding photos that has come out of our studio.
Now Dena and her sisters are true characters. Fun and warmth, are but two ways to describe them. As soon as Dena and Paul booked with us I was looking forward to another great day of entertainment, fun and laughter. I was not disappointed thats for sure, and the combination of Dena and her sisters, and Paul and his brothers, being the wedding party was a sure fired recipe for success.
The ceremony was The Begonia House, at The Lady Norwood Rose Gardens, and from there we went to Te Papa, The Wellington Waterfront, and then onto Frank Kitts Park. The combination was superb. It was then onto the Wedding Breakfast at The George Washington Restaurant in Lower Hutt.
From the start to the finish, this was another great day. The weather helped, however its always the friends and family, who attend a wedding who make the atmosphere. My last shot of the day summed it up where James ( who is only 18months old!!) was having such a neat time on the dance floor with his Mum Dena. By rights he should have been out for the count, however he was not going to be missing any of the fun, thats for sure!
