Photography by Woolf prides itself on the way we photograph our family groups. We feel a huge responsibility that we record families accurately, creatively, and in a fun and spontaneous manner. We like to provide value, however the overriding aim is to provide a photography that lasts the test of time. Family history is important, and in that regard we wish to provide photography that does not date, but is relavant for a lengthy period.

The products we use to produce our photography has have long life characteristics too. We currently use Kodak Endura silver halide photographic papers, and also Epson Velvet Fine Art , and Traditional Photo papers. These papers are stunning, however their greatest quality is that they, have under testing, proven that they will last over 100 years, and longer in respect of Black and White.

The family on this blog belong to our very own Jess. I have popped up a little B/W/Colour comparison to show the difference between the two mediums. We also photograph to obtain panoramas from time to time, and they too are very effective.

Whether its in the studio or on location( beaches, parks, and reserves prove popular too) we have fun, provide variety, and work to our customers requirements and comfort zones.
Recording milestones are important. It’s all about establishing, or building upon family history. Kiwi’s are pretty poor at making sure their family history is kept up, and is well recorded. We can help fill in the gaps, and especially for future generations.

Photography by Woolf also archive every photo we take! Yes you read that right! Our files go back to 1934! You read that right too!
We have had many an occasion where a customer has lost or damaged photos, and has come back to us to have them reprinted, which we can usually do without too much difficulty.
It’s great risk management, and especially in this digital era, where computer files corrupt, and hard drives crash regularly.
We take no chances, and have all sorts of measures in place to make sure all our files are well archived.

Don’t delay. Book your Family Group Photography session now.
