50 And Going Strong

Photography by Woolf is 50, and we are going strong. Over the past 50 years we have photographed many families, individuals, occasions, weddings events, jubilees, scenes, reunions, items, birds, insects, cars, sports, landscapes, teams, groups, architecture, and in fact you name it we have pretty much covered a fair proportion of different photographic pursuits over the last half century plus!
Over the next year we are going to relive many of those memories, and are going to use our Blog to give our viewers some great insights into our colourful ( and black and white too!!) history. You will see some great photographs dating back to Ronald Woolf’s early Black and Whites and Hand Coloured images to digital images from the present day.
You will also be able to become involved with competitions, special deals, and Birthday Promotions over the next wee while.
We also look forward to hearing back from some of our clients with anecdotes, and historical accounts of their experiences with Photography by Woolf ( formerly known as Spencer Digby Studios)
Later in the year we are planning a couple of exhibitions and displays spanning the fifty years. We are looking for more photos and albums which we may like to include in our 50 Year Retrospective Exhibition. If you have something that you may wish to contribute we would be grateful to consider it for our exhibitions
Give Simon a ring on 917 6861 to make a time to come into our Cable Car Lane Studio, where we would love to see your photos. You just never know, your precious memories may become part of what is shaping up to be quite an interesting exhibition. Should your photos or albums be chosen to be exhibited you will also get a small birthday/thank you gift in return. We greatly value all our customers over the past 50 years.
We thought we would kick things off with some photos which include a prominant Kiwi, and a well known Australian, who were both photographed by Ronald Woolf in the early 1960’s.
Email ; info@woolf.co.nz with who you think the two personalities are, and the first correct answer will get Photography by Woolf Birthday Gift.
