"Wellington Viewed" by Simon Woolf, Exhibition and Workshops @ Academy of Fine Arts Wellington

As part of the #Capital150 celebrations, this exhibition  presents a number of breathtaking, Limited Edition Photographs by passionate Wellingtonian Simon Woolf:  land and cityscapes as well as a selection of portraits of Wellington personalities will be on display at the Academy of Fine Arts. Simon will also be running a series of WORKSHOPS.

Photography workshops@ Academy Galleries with Simon Woolf: 

  • Sunday 26 July 1 to 2.30 pm (approx).

How to publish a book with Simon Woolf and Momento Photo Books.  The workshop will take you through the step-by-step process to publish your own photo book. Topics covered will include hints and advice on taking and selecting the right photos, how to lay these out like a professional, and finally getting the bookprinted as a permanent and personalised record of your precious memories.

Wellington and Landscapes:  Hear first-hand about how to photograph cityscapes and landscapes, with our beautiful Capital city as the subject. 

  • Saturday 1 August, 2:00-3:00pm (approx)

Nature: Simon will share his extensive photographic experience to help you take the best photographs of our stunning natural environment.

  • Sunday 2 August, 10:30-11:30 am (approx)

Documentary and People.  A special masterclass from arguably one of our most prolific and talented photographers.


On registration we’ll let you know what you need to bring with you for each workshop.

These workshops cost $15 per head and places are strictly limited.

The entry cost is an Academy fundraiser.Light refreshments will be served after each workshop.
