What a lovely day I had photographing Neil and Emma's wedding!
It was rather special as my Mum, Lucy, actually teaches one of their daughters at kindergarten! It was awesome meeting Imogen and also her younger sister Ivy. Such cute little girls!
I first arrived to photograph Emma and all the girls getting ready at her bridesmaid’s beautiful villa in Khandallah. Wow, Emma looked stunning in her vintage dress, and her daughters, the flower girls Ivy (1 1/2) and Imogen (3 ½,), wore cute little dresses with gold sparkles. I was informed they were "sparkles" and definitely not glitter (from wee Imogen) ...
The gorgeous bouquets were by Dana of Beautiful Flowers. The ceremony then followed in the Khandallah Town Hall. There were performances by friends in the ceremony, a friend sung accompanied by a lovely pianist.
Khandallah Hall on the outside has lots of character and was a great backdrop for the larger group shot, family photos and a few of the bridal party images. The rest of the creative photographs of Neil, Emma and the bridal party were taken at Khandallah Park. The light was dropping fast, but we managed to get some gorgeous shots of everyone. The fantastic bridal party included Neil's two brothers who had a bit of fun with the photos before we all headed back to join the guests at the town hall for a few speeches and dinner.
Catering was by Blue Carrot. The speeches were entertaining and the hall was filled with laughter. The tables were decorated with floral arrangements, again, by Dana (from Beautiful Flowers), and the gorgeous wedding cake was made by Neil's Mum, Yvonne, who is a very talented lady! I left everyone getting merry and enjoying their meals for what, I’m sure, was a fabulous end to the day.
Thanks for letting me be a part of your gorgeous wedding! From Jess x
