At Photography by Woolf we are constantly on the lookout for awesome education and inspiration. We gain our cutting edge, industry leader tag from being committed to continually upskilling, and moving ourselves forward.

Today the Photography by Woolf team attended an all day seminar with two of the worlds great Wedding Photographers in husband and wife partnership David and Cassandra Beckstead, who also had their lovely, well behaved, 3 year daughter Asia with them.

It was great day, being totally inspiring, and also very reassuring too. The inspiration came from The Becksteads who were very generous in what they shared with the audience, and it was easy to tell why they are so sought after as both photographers and educators. The reassurance aspect was that in viewing the spectacular imagery The Becksteads showed, we know our team are very much in the ballpark, and are up with the best.

We learnt heaps from the day, and will be adding a few aspects to the Photography by Woolf repertoire. Our wedding couples will benifit greatly as a result. Our thanks to Gary Hewlett, and The Image College for bringing Cassandra, David and Asia out to New Zealand. It was a great initiative, and to have “just the best” involved in an educational industry event is great for the evolution of wedding photography in New Zealand. Alicia, Jess, Louise, Doug, and I enjoyed the day greatly.
