Where innovation and experience meet

In 1934 Spencer Digby established what was to become one of New Zealand’s leading studios. The business was sold to the Woolf family in 1960, and it thrived under the direction of Ronald and Inge Woolf.
Now, Simon Woolf carries on the family legacy supported by a highly trained team of professionals.

Woolf Photography values quality, creativity, innovation and most of all, experience. Anyone can become a ‘photographer’ but not everyone can have 50+ years developing photography technique, knowledge and skill. This is proven through the numerous national and international awards and accolades the studio has received. The studio holds the record for the most Kodak Gold Awards. The studio’s photographers have also won a host of Photographic Society of New Zealand Champion Image awards, and gold medals, and also have gained multiple successes in the Epson Iris Awards. Photography by Woolf have also produced more Photographic Society of New Zealand Youth Award Winners than any other studio

Woolf Photography are passionate about the work they do. They strive to capture moments in time that last a lifetime and are dedicated to providing exceptional photographic experiences.
